The curious timing of ResearchGate’s sudden cancelation as world-changing energy device nears commercial deliveries

For over a decade, Andrea Rossi has been a highly visible and top-ranked researcher on ResearchGate.
Recently, however, a series of his publications was suddenly canceled. Rossi reached out to the platform to see if he had violated any rules, and the company confirmed that he had not. Despite this, his most-read research disappeared from public view, though all of his publications remain accessible on his personal website, Journal of Nuclear Physics and Archive Physics.
In a message on August 27, 2025, Rossi offered a striking explanation:
Frank Acland:
Here is my statement also FOR ALL OUR READERS:
If I have understood, the war has been initiated, in view of the start of the deliveries of the Ecat. As a matter of fact, all the papers related to the Ecat have been cancelled from ResearchGate. I contacted ResearchGate and they confirmed that I did not violate the rules of ResearchGate and that the block of my profile is not related to the reasons of appeal listed by ResearchGate. I asked why my profile has been blocked, they did not answer. All the statistics related to my publications are certified, all the authors of recommendations are certified publicly, and are all persons that made publications on Research Gate, no robots have been detected, nothing wrong has been detected. Notwithstanding this facts, all my publications have been cancelled and Research Gate did not respond to my questions. Goodbye ResearchGate and good luck to you and your publishers. Anyway, I must be grateful to ResearchGate for having published my publications for 10 years, making them known to over 170,000 excellent persons. Obviously all my publications are reachable on the website of Leonardo Corporation: http://WWW.ECAT.COM and on the Journal of Nuclear Physics and Archive Physics.
Thank you Frank Acland for suggesting with your comment the link to access directly the publication that is still, so far, the most read publication of Researchgate.
We expect more aggressions, but we are ready, and, most of all, we have FAITH.
Warm Regards,
A.R.
A Coincidence of Timing
The timing of this action is, at the very least, intriguing. Rossi’s E-Cat device, a potentially world-changing energy technology, is reportedly on the verge of global delivery. The company licensed to his technology has already replicated it and is now preparing for distribution/deliveries.
Energy is the fundamental driver of almost all human activity, and a scalable Low-Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR/ZPE) device could disrupt industries, economies, and geopolitics on a massive scale. That Rossi’s high-visibility research and number 1 read publication was abruptly canceled and profile blocked just as commercialization approaches raises a significant question: are there powerful forces at play?
This pattern mirrors other moments in technological history. When a large language model like ChatGPT 3.0 launched with a user interface, ChatGPT 3.5, it quickly went viral and began reshaping the data landscape. In response, 30,000 people signed this letter, including a group of prominent figures, including Elon Musk and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, who called for a moratorium on “Giant AI Experiments” in an open letter published by the Future of Life Institute in March 2023. Despite this public warning about the profound societal and economic impact, many of the same figures did a about-face and invested heavily in AI themselves.
This serves as a powerful reminder: Truly revolutionary technology cannot be stopped. The creation of new industries, massive profit potential, and the momentum of global adoption, especially for clean, abundant, decentralized energy, are accelerated by the urgency of issues like global warming, which helps drive innovation forward.
Rossi’s situation serves as a vivid reminder that paradigm-shifting technologies often face resistance. However, the momentum of innovation cannot be contained. When timing, visibility, and readiness collide, the world can begin to change dramatically, and in some cases, what feels like almost overnight.
For those following the future of energy and technology, Rossi’s publications remain accessible on his website.
Time to Unincorporate
For far too long, the legal framework around corporations has allowed individuals to hide behind artificial entities with devastating consequences. The concept of corporate personhood, while convenient for the wheels of commerce, has become a tool of exploitation—a veil through which accountability dissipates, leaving behind environmental destruction, financial ruin, and societal decay.
Why we need to think bigger
The system isn't broken...I would argue, the system works precisely as intended. We live in a world of systems that keep society confined to a box. Those that control these systems (the 'elite') have designed it in such a way to enrich the elite directly off the...
