The system isn’t broken…I would argue, the system works precisely as intended.
We live in a world of systems that keep society confined to a box. Those that control these systems (the ‘elite’) have designed it in such a way to enrich the elite directly off the labour of the people. Those that control us do nothing except tell us what to do utilizing the systems they have put in place. Put another way, they gave us the blueprints on how to build and operate our very own open air prison. Any ideas opposing such systems are generally deemed ‘illegal’ in some manner and the controllers will utilize the systems to shut such ideas down with full force.
We can change that. Instead of doing as told, we should do as we want according to our needs. I believe the majority of the people simply want to live a happy and prosperous life. What we need are systems that support that idea. Instead of building walls around us that restrict our well being, let’s build systems that are designed to uplift and allow growth towards a better and more prosperous future for all of society. I like to think about the future I am leaving for my children and their children and so on.
A simple switch in mind-set can revolutionize the future. We have all the tools. We built this world that’s shrouded with darkness, why can’t we just as easily build an enlightened world? We all have a choice to participate in a way that can move us forward. Lawmakers can change the laws, gun-holders can put down the guns, fear-mongers can stop spreading fear, censurers can stop censoring, politicians can speak truth, neighbours can be nice, and so on.
It may take courage to do so, but with courage comes great benefits.
